The Cleofás Calleros Papers were donated to the University of Texas at El Paso Library, C. L. Sonnichsen Special Collections Department in 1979 by Calleros The Cleofás Calleros Papers were donated to the University of Texas at El Paso Library, C. L. Sonnichsen Special Collections Department in 1979 by Calleros’ daughter, Margarita Calleros Blanco, and his grandson, Raul C. Blanco. The collection is the result of the accession of 52 boxes. However, one box was returned to Margarita Blanco. Nine more boxes containing Calleros’ scrapbooks, albums, and published material were added to the collection later. The original accession number was 933, and the collection number changed to MS 231 in 1993.
