Remote Access to Online Resources
Off campus (remote) access to Nugget and Encore is available to anyone with an Internet connection. Remote access to most of the Library’s subscription electronic databases and e-journals is available to current UTEP faculty, staff, and students only via the following methods:

If you are using the VPN or My Desktop and are having problems connecting to the network, contact the campus Help Desk or (915) 747-5257.
To report a technical problem with any of the Library’s electronic databases or e-journals, contact a member of the E-Resources Team. Telephone assistance is available between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., M-F, by calling either Lisa Borden at (915) 747-6709 or Jason Moore at (915) 747-6706. If no-one is available to take your call in person, please leave a message or send us an e-mail and we will respond to your query as soon as possible on the next business day.
