Today's Library hours: Tuesday 7 am - 8 pm
The Library has over 300 databases and thousands of e-journals to help with your research needs. In addition we have our library catalog, Nugget (and Encore) to help you find books, journals, government documents, and more.
Access to Nugget and the Library’s databases is available to students, faculty and staff from computers in the Collaborative Learning Center (CLC), the Technology Support Center, and in the Media & Microforms area.
Off campus (remote) access to Nugget and Encore is available to anyone with an Internet connection. Remote access to most of the Library’s databases and e-journals is available to current UTEP faculty, staff, and students only via the following methods:
- The Campus VPN
- The Library’s Proxy Server.
Questions or Problems?
If you are using the VPN and are having problems connecting to the network, contact the campus Help Desk or (915) 747-5257.
To report a technical problem with any of the Library’s electronic databases or e-journals, contact a member of the E-Resources Team. Telephone assistance is available between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., M-F, by calling either Lisa Borden at (915) 747-6709 or Jason Moore at (915) 747-6706. If no-one is available to take your call in person, please leave a message or send us an e-mail and we will respond to your query as soon as possible on the next business day.
