The Acquisitions Department acquires library materials and electronic resources in support of the university's undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as student / faculty research, scholarship, and creative activities.

The Acquisitions Department processes requests from each subject specialist as quickly as possible. Requests from departments should be in the hands of the subject specialist between August & April each fiscal year.

Requests may be sent on a "request form," which is available from the Acquisitions Department. Advertisements, announcements, or catalogs may be submitted to a subject specialist by e-mail or by phone. We do ask that whatever information you have about the title be given to us. Verification can be difficult especially if the title has not been published at the time the request is received.
